ABOUT US
If you are visiting this site, you or
someone you care about is considering terminating a pregnancy.
It is such a personal, private decision; you don't want to share it
with everyone. So, where do you turn for help and honest information?
The best thing you can do to protect yourself is to educate yourself.
Not all clinics are alike, be sure to ask a lot of questions, and
trust your feelings.
At Houston Women's Clinic, you will be treated with respect, compassion
and integrity. Our goal has always been to care for women's physical
AND emotional well-being. In our clinic women receive safe abortion
procedures in a compassionate setting. That explains why so many women
who have used our services bring their loved ones to our clinic if
they need help. To read what our patients have said click on "Patient
Comments".
Our clinic is owned and staffed by Bernard
Rosenfeld, M.D.,a Board certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist who
also has a Ph.D. in Psychology. He is on staff at Texas Women's, St.
Luke's and Methodist Hospitals in the Medical Center and has been

Our staff is specially trained to provide supportive counseling that
respects your choice. By providing individual, personalized care we
take time with each patient. Counseling is done on an individual basis,
not in a group, because we respect your right to privacy and confidentiality.

INFORMATION FOR MINORS
As of September 2005 - Texas law requires parental consent before a woman under 18 years of age can obtain an abortion. A parent can accompany you to the clinic to sign the paper work or they can sign the papers at another time prior to the abortion.
There is an organization in Texas CLICK HERE - www.janesdueprocess.org that will help you through a legal process (at no charge) to have an abortion with out consent of a parent. Please call our clinic to find out more about this law.
