FEES

Our fees include everything, there are no additional costs: lab work, ultrasound, counseling, all medications, procedure, follow up visit and birth control pills (sample and a prescription for one year). Rhogam is given to all patients who are Rh negative at no additional charge. 

The cost for the procedure is based on how long you have been pregnant. This is calculated from the first day of the last normal menstrual period.

Fees for Abortions*

We accept cash, money order or major credit card. No personal or payroll checks will be accepted.

For Financial Assistance

• Houston Women's Clinic is a member of The National Abortion Federation, which provides funding to our patients who have a severe financial hardship. Call 800-772-9100 for more information.
• The Lilith Fund is a Texas organization that offers funding for abortions.  Call 1-877-659-4304 Monday, Wednesday or Friday only between the hours of 7am and noon Central. See www.lilithfund.org for more information.

INSTRUCTIONS

Before your appointment:

• Nothing to eat or drink after midnight. If your appointment is in the afternoon, nothing to eat or drink 6 hours before your appointment. 
• Shower or bathe as usual 
• Dress comfortably in a 2-piece out fit, bring socks and/or sweater 
• Please take your routine daily medications (blood pressure, thyroid) as prescribed. 

Bring to your appointment:

• Your payment in cash, debit or credit card. Card holder must be present with I.D.
• A government issued ID with your date of birth (driver's license, state ID, birth certificate, or passport). Minors (under 18) must have proper ID. Contact the clinic to be sure you have everything required.
• If you are receiving sedation, bring someone to drive you home and we must see your driver's license at check-in
• If you are having local anesthesia only, you may drive yourself
• Your completed forms (filled out in black ink)
• Print our map/directions to clinic
• If you’re using insurance, bring your insurance card

As a courtesy to other patients, we ask that no children be brought to the clinic

INFORMATION FOR MINORS

Texas Law requires parental consent before a woman under 18 years of age can obtain an abortion.

There is an organization in Texas CLICK HERE - www.janesdueprocess.org that will help you through a legal process (at no charge) to have an abortion without notifying a parent. Please call our clinic to find out more about this law.
